Manufacturing Engineer

At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in North Kingstown, RI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and calibration processes.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for creating and coordinating the implementation of new or improved calibration processes. This includes coordination of various group activities within Manufacturing Engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, the environment, quality, reliability, and productivity.
- Supports organizational policies related to safety, environmental protection, housekeeping, etc. within area of responsibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex machine configurations.
- Implements calibration operation changes and optimizations based on identified needs and related engineering data.
- Trains employees on new processes as a function of new product releases or new standards released.
- Assists the service department with troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Develops and writes work instructions, sequence of operations as well as time estimates for each operation specification.
- Creates and maintains routings for management of process and material throughput.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Engineering or A.S. with equivalent combination of education and experience, 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, and experience with developing routings and work instructions for calibration processes.
