In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating, planning, and executing tailored treatment programs that assist clients in their recovery and wellness journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical conditions to assess their functional abilities and restrictions.
- Create individualized treatment strategies based on evaluation results, employing evidence-based methodologies and therapies.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, exercises, and techniques aimed at enhancing clients' mobility, strength, and physical capabilities.
- Inform clients and their families about treatment strategies and self-management practices to facilitate recovery and sustained health.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, counselors, and other therapists, to provide integrated and holistic care.
- Track and document clients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain precise and current records of treatment sessions and client progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage in team discussions, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise and remain updated with industry advancements.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in a therapeutic or mental health environment.
- Strong clinical competencies and understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Capability to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
- Visual, auditory, and verbal skills essential for evaluating and effectively communicating with clients.
- Hourly Rate: $47 - $55, translating to an annual salary range of $97,760 - $114,400, based on experience.
