We are seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at the Helen Farabee Center. As an EIS, you will play a critical role in providing essential services to eligible individuals and their families in a 10-county area.
Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Identify children with developmental delays and provide intervention services to address their needs.
- Service Coordination: Provide coordination services to designated children and their families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all services provided.
- Travel: Travel extensively within the 10-county area for service delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 18 hours of semester course credit relevant to early childhood intervention.
- Experience: Registered as an EIS in the state of Texas or completed all credentialing activities to become an Early Intervention Specialist.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, hold, and play with young children, and move into and out of sitting positions on the floor.
