Orthopaedic Surgery Faculty Positions

The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking full-time faculty members across various ranks. Successful candidates will engage in both inpatient and outpatient care as part of a career in academic medicine. Responsibilities will also encompass teaching, mentoring trainees and students, and contributing to scholarly research.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent.
2) Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
3) Be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
4) Have completed an ACGME-accredited orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent.
5) Have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship or its equivalent in a relevant specialization.
We particularly encourage applications from individuals with a focus on joint replacement surgery, as there is an opportunity to rapidly establish a practice and lead clinical research initiatives in this field.
