The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is actively seeking full-time faculty members across all ranks. The selected candidates will engage in both inpatient and outpatient care as part of a distinguished career in academic medicine. Responsibilities will also encompass the education and mentorship of trainees and students, alongside scholarly contributions.
Qualifications: To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent.
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Have completed an ACGME-accredited orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent.
- Have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship or its equivalent in a relevant specialization.
We particularly encourage candidates with a focus on joint replacement surgery, as they will have the opportunity to rapidly establish a practice and lead clinical research initiatives in this specialty.
