Job Summary

The Boar's Head Resort is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our Operations team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and reset all vacant guest rooms according to our high standards, including washing linens, making beds, dusting furniture, and mopping floors.
  • Restock amenities and dispose of trash in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Double-check rooms to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to rooms to your supervisor and the maintenance team.
  • Clean public areas, including banquet rooms, hallways, and lobbies, as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily room resetting goals.
  • Ability to work 5-7 days per week, in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to clean up to 16 guest rooms per day.
  • Proven ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to understand and meet the service needs of our guests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably at a Forbes-rated or AAA 4 Diamond property.
