Position Overview

In alignment with the SAP Senior Manager for Change & Release, the SAP Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator will engage with business stakeholders and consultants to establish, manage, and oversee project testing phases within Micro Focus ALM, administer the Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS), and spearhead all training and communication initiatives. This role is pivotal in supporting SAP change and release management activities to fulfill the operational needs for the implementation and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise initiatives. The Coordinator will be tasked with setting up projects, ensuring the smooth operation of ALM, and devising and executing training strategies to prepare users for transitions in business processes, systems, and technologies. Responsibilities include identifying training requirements, developing training plans, monitoring training progress, and ensuring effective training delivery. Additionally, the Coordinator will review all relevant processes and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and knowledgeable about their roles. Regular communication through project newsletters will also be part of the responsibilities. The SAP Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator will collaborate with site leads to deliver and validate training for associates as needed for the deployment of SAP S4HANA across Terumo's North and South American operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support new projects in Micro Focus ALM for SAP, IT, and other business sectors, including user access and loading test cases/scripts.
  • Generate dashboard metrics and reports to evaluate testing timeliness and other critical aspects within ALM.
  • Lead and manage all project test cycles and defect management for various testing types, including unit, regression, integration, operational qualification, and user acceptance testing.
  • Communicate testing status and updates to all stakeholders and project teams effectively.
  • Collaborate with other Process & Technology Teams to maintain and support the Micro Focus ALM system for the SAP S/4HANA deployment program and other projects.
  • Ensure that core processes are functioning efficiently; conduct audits of ALM or Success Factors LMS to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced governance through analytics.
  • Oversee daily administration and support of ALM, Success Factors LMS, and change management tools.
  • Engage proactively with the SAP COE Leader, Technology Architect, Deployment Manager, PMO, Project Team, and Business Stakeholders to establish standard methods and tools.
  • Facilitate the setup and maintenance of SharePoint trackers for ALM and LMS during the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Clarify requirements with Consultants/Developers as necessary.
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure compliance with documented requirements for ALM and LMS systems.
  • Manage all aspects of training and communication deliverables, overseeing day-to-day training activities.
  • Collaborate with business and Process teams to determine training requirements and course-to-role mapping.
  • Develop and conduct train-the-trainer sessions as per project timelines.
  • Provide logistical support for training delivery, including scheduling sessions and managing training assignments.
  • Identify areas for training improvement.
Continued Responsibilities
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure that learning objectives align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT partners and development teams to track and report on training phases.
  • Utilize the LMS to monitor training processes and collaborate with the LMS administrator to develop metrics and reports for training completion and compliance.
  • Maintain and support SharePoint trackers and training environments for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Update and create training materials as required by process teams.
  • Administer Success Factors LMS to assign training to users and support the SAP Training environment.
  • Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify training requirements.
  • Provide timely status reports to Deployment Manager, SAP COE Leader, PMO, and other stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives across subsidiaries to aid managerial decision-making.
  • Participate in Enterprise IT Applications, ALM, LMS, training, and change management activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficient in Micro Focus ALM, Success Factors LMS administration, testing, and training management, with experience in SAP Solution Manager ITSM, ChaRM, Enable Now, and SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Highly motivated and confident individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, building trust with associates at all levels.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing applications relevant to SAP software.
  • Understanding of SOX and IRM compliance, as well as FDA CFR Part 11 software validation processes.
  • Ability to perform accurately under time constraints.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations.
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7 years in SAP Testing, Micro Focus ALM administration, Test management, and Learning Management System administration, preferably with SAP Success Factors.
  • Experience in project management, SAP S4/HANA, and IT application training execution and reporting/analytics.
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Experience in the Medical Device or Life Sciences industry is preferred.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of implementation tools such as SAP Solution Manager ITSM, ChaRM, ServiceNow, SharePoint, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
