DiningRD is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) for a consulting opportunity within skilled nursing facilities and behavioral health settings.
This role requires travel within a specified region, providing essential nutritional support to improve the quality of life for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting MDS assessments, specifically Section K and CAA.
- Documenting nutritional care for residents identified as high risk.
- Engaging in the care planning process to ensure optimal dietary management.
- Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to enhance resident care.
- Overseeing food service operations, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Must possess credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure is required where applicable.
- A minimum of 2 years in consulting or long-term care is preferred, though various experiences will be considered.
- Ability to embody core values such as customer focus, adaptability, passion, and empathy.
