Job Summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support our team of certified clinicians in providing exceptional patient care services. As a Clinical Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a certified clinician to assist with patient care, prepare rooms and patients for treatment, and perform administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist certified clinicians with patient care services, including preparing rooms and patients for treatment.
  • Perform technical fabrication, make and modify molds, and complete administrative tasks.
  • Document patient care provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide patient follow-up for selected orthotic and prosthetic patients under the direction of a supervising certified clinician.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and monitor inventory and other clerical tasks.
  • Contact vendors to order prosthetic and orthotic materials.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Allied Health Professionals: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), Athletic Trainer (ATC), etc.
  • Orthotic, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), or Soft Goods Fitter.
  • Medical Assistant.
