About the Role:

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, treatment, and education to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a home health care setting. This role requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a California Speech Language Pathologist License.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Provide education to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • California Speech Language Pathologist License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist
  • Home health experience as a Speech Pathologist
