The Woman’s Hospital of Texas is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to women and their families. As a Clinical Respiratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will perform diagnostic tests and administer respiratory therapies to patients with various conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Assist with the placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation as required.
  • You will also assist with transporting ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.

Requirements

  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification or registration
  • State-registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date
