Job Summary

The Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Policy Standardization unit, you will play a critical role in providing guidance, support, and oversight in the development and modification of procedures and operations within the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with departmental regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to correctional staff on policy and procedure implementation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and make recommendations for policy and procedure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. public administration, corrections, business administration).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a correctional or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This position is located in a correctional facility and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
