Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at HRA. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents, associates, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all common areas, including the lobby, guest restrooms, hallways, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Vacuum all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture, dust all furniture, hanging pictures, and fixtures, and clean glass surfaces.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder resident's linens, towels, sheets, and other items according to schedule and as needed.
  • Supply Management: Ensure that the housekeeping cart and other supplies and equipment are in a safe area to prevent any injuries to residents, associates, or visitors.
  • Inventory Control: Properly store and label hazardous cleaning products.
  • Resident Services: Clean resident's rooms or apartments by vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting bathrooms, and ensure that residents' personal clothing remains separate at all times.
  • Waste Management: Properly dispose of soiled clothing or linens in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Slip and Fall Prevention: Be constantly alert to wipe up any water or liquid on the floors to prevent slips and falls by residents, associates, or visitors.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain good relationships with residents and family members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
