Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Martin Marietta. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a front-end loader to transfer materials from the yard to storage bins, maintaining stockpile areas, and servicing the loader. You will work closely with the Batchman, Mixer Operators, and other team members to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a front-end loader to transfer materials from the yard to storage bins
  • Maintain stockpile areas and service the loader
  • Work closely with the Batchman, Mixer Operators, and other team members to ensure efficient production and high-quality products
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on the loader, including checking tire pressure, oil, grease, and diesel fuel levels
  • Record daily maintenance activities and report any issues to the maintenance team
  • Assist in the inventory process and maintain accurate records
  • Report any problems or concerns to the supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in operation and maintenance of a front-end loader
  • Ready-Mix operation knowledge
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Working Conditions

This is an outdoor position that requires working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, and dry. You will be exposed to dust, sand, gravel, and diesel exhaust. You must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
