Painter Helper

Zachry Group is seeking a skilled Painter Helper to join our team. As a key member of our painting crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and application of coatings to various surfaces.
Responsibilities- Assist in the identification and selection of tools and materials required for painting tasks.
- Help to identify and mitigate safety risks associated with painting operations.
- Assist in the mixing and application of paint and coatings as needed.
- Participate in the construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed concrete forms.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting.
- Must possess all necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the job.
- Must be willing to assist other crafts while not actively working on a painting project.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Must have all required tools and equipment.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Current or former experience working with Zachry Group or Zachry Industrial, Inc.
- Experience working with scaffolding, insulation, and painting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
- Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work on platforms/scaffolding using fall protection equipment.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
