We are seeking a software engineer to join the Cloudera Data in Motion team. You will collaborate with the core development team, concentrating on research and development within the Apache NiFi ecosystem. We appreciate diverse backgrounds and experiences.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching, designing, implementing, and testing new features and framework modifications.
- Conducting threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability detection and analysis on the NiFi application and associated libraries.
- Collaborating with various teams on application architecture and development.
- Offering expertise and guidance to fellow application developers on the Data In Motion engineering team.
- Providing expert support to customers and field teams concerning scalability, networking, and security challenges.
- Investigating industry advancements and emerging threats to enhance platform security.

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess:
- Experience in developing large-scale web systems.
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing multi-threaded and secure Java code.
- Skills in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Go is advantageous.
