Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain document control specifications throughout project lifecycles.
  • Track deliverables from Engineering, Contractors, and Vendors, including recording revisions, distribution, and transmittal histories.
  • Ensure data reliability, retrievability, and traceability per Document Control standards.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence promptly and accurately.
  • Generate and update Supplier and Contractor Document Registers, ensuring all metadata fields are correct and up to date.
  • Prepare and implement squad check documentation in line with procedures and distribution matrices.
  • Provide accurate status reports based on project-specific requirements.
  • Maintain alignment with Document Control standards while managing deviations as needed.
  • Offer back-up document control support on other projects as required.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in engineering and vendor document management, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry (Midstream).
  • Proficiency with Electronic Data Management Systems and software such as Oracle + Aconex, OpenText, and SharePoint (ACONEX experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong command of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Expertise in deliverables management, including revision control, transmittals, document registers, and workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments (PHMSA, FERC, DOT, PSM) is a plus.
  • Understanding of naming schemas, data management standards, and data migration.


Preferred Experience:

  • Document Control experience with energy Owner/Operator companies, preferably in project execution.
  • Operations experience is a bonus.
