Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a security engineer to deploy and uphold data encryption and tokenization methodologies.
- Deliver security engineering assistance to enhance and maintain security operations across Verisk's technological landscape.
- Support and enforce operational integrity for cybersecurity solutions provided to various business units.
- Manage information protection systems and offer Level 1 and 2 support within a service management framework.
- Fulfill all responsibilities as detailed in the annual Performance Plan.
- Complete special projects and additional tasks as required.
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a security engineer, particularly in data encryption and tokenization.
- Advanced technical and operational expertise with encryption technologies, including transparent data encryption.
- Familiarity with public cloud environments, particularly AWS, along with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., GIAC GSEC, CISSP) and a degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- The ability to independently evaluate and prioritize the resolution of outstanding tasks and requests.
