Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to serve as the Assistant Chief of our Behavioral Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight to our multidisciplinary staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical consultation and guidance to staff members on complex patient cases
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication
- Supervise and mentor staff members to enhance their clinical skills and professional development
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice psychology in the state of employment
- At least 3 years of experience as a professional psychologist, with at least 1 year equivalent to the GS-13 grade level
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in managing a behavioral health service with a multidisciplinary staff
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
