Sleep Study Technician

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for collecting and analyzing sleep studies in patients 3 years of age and older. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sleep disorders and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions
  • Collect and analyze sleep study data to identify patterns and trends
  • Prepare and apply electrodes, sensors, and therapies to patients
  • Identify and document patient events, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and EKG arrhythmias
  • Correct poor study/signal quality in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Perform common office tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and messaging
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
  • Experience in a medical setting or sleep disorders center preferred
  • Experience with common MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and email management
