Job Summary

We're seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join our team in Lancaster, PA. As an Electrical Controls Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring industrial equipment, troubleshooting PLCs, and partnering with other skilled trade individuals to ensure the plant and production run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in programming and troubleshooting HMI graphical interfaces and PLCs, calibrating weigh scale systems, load cells, and loss of weight feeders.
  • Prioritize innovation and communication, actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Partner and collaborate with the team to identify best practices, solutions, and techniques in solving plant breakdowns or troubleshooting needs.
Requirements
  • 5 years of industrial maintenance electrical/instrument repair experience or 3 years with formal relevant education or an accredited industrial maintenance electrical/instrument repair apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • PLC experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.
