Job Summary

The Life Engagement Coach will play a vital role in creating an enriching and engaging experience for our residents. This includes coordinating and executing life engagement activities, working with the team to encourage and support residents in their personal and social development, and fostering a culture of hospitality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and execution of the calendar and personal schedules for assigned neighborhoods
  • Ensure an abundant supply of resources and technology is available to residents
  • Continually invite, encourage, and assist residents in all activities
  • Set up agendas for evening engagement and follow up to ensure plans are executed
  • Assist the team with monthly budgeting for food, engagement, and educational activities
  • Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective manner
  • Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors
  • Ensure an attractive home environment exists at all times, fostering engagement, socialization, and purposeful living

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest

  • Previous experience working with seniors, with a desire to serve and care for seniors
