We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff nurses with plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, considering age, developmental, socioeconomic, psychological, physical, spiritual, and cultural factors.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members to expedite and coordinate the delivery of services and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Develop and revise instructional materials for staff development in collaboration with educators.
- Assume responsibility for direction, supervision, and development of assigned personnel.
- Participate in interview processes and provide feedback for evaluating assigned personnel.
- Identify problems with systems or processes and recommend or participate in designing strategies to improve the quality and utilization of Medical Center resources.
- 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting as a Surgical Technician.
- Has successfully completed an accredited educational program for surgical technologists and is certified as a surgical technologist accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists.
- Must be certified as a Surgical Technologist or meets other Educational Requirements stated above.
