PACS Inc is seeking a Nutritional Culinary Specialist

Compensation: $19 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and hygienic condition.
  • Skillfully prepare delicious meals and cook a diverse range of foods in substantial quantities.
  • Adhere to established menus and portion control guidelines.
  • Accurately prepare meals for special dietary needs.
  • Monitor and record food temperatures for all prepared meals.
  • Prepare pureed food items as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff across all departments.
  • Maintain appropriate sanitizer solutions in cleaning buckets.
  • Assist in serving various meals to residents.
  • Clean the cooking area and serving equipment thoroughly.
  • Report any resident care concerns and potential issues to the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
  • Engage in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary personnel.
  • Present food in an appealing manner to enhance the dining experience for residents.
  • Exhibit a cooperative attitude.
  • Be willing to supervise and work under supervision as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all cleaning schedules.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a cooking role.
