About the Role

Country Pure Foods is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in $65,000 - $85,000 per year, with opportunities for career growth and professional development. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage our proactive maintenance program, schedule all planned maintenance activities, and ensure inventory budget accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, be proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactive Maintenance Program Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize workforce efficiency.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule all planned maintenance activity at the site, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to production.
  • Inventory Management: Control inventory budget accuracy, turns, and other inventory management measurements to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Part Procurement: Procure parts for all scheduled and unscheduled projects and repairs, managing suppliers and quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Kitting and Parts Management: Kitting parts for scheduled and unscheduled projects and repairs, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Assist site personnel with job troubleshooting, root cause discovery, and preventive maintenance optimization to drive cost reductions and improved efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Associates degree from a two-year college or certificate from a technical field; 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience and/or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician or equivalent combination of both.
  • Certifications and Skills: PSM Certification (preferred); familiarity with CMMS; project management and capital project experience (desired).
  • Language and Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret, and write reports; proficiency in English language.
  • Mathematical and Reasoning Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts, apply practical problem-solving skills, and interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Internet software, Inventory software, Project Management software, Spreadsheet software (Excel), Word Processing software (Word), and Email Software (Office 365).
