Job Summary:

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join their team at the Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, Colorado. As a key member of the Cardiology department, this individual will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac sonography and technology
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
