The Water/Wastewater Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment facilities at one or more plants, processing, and testing equipment to purify water to meet permit and operational requirements. The Operator troubleshoots and diagnoses operational problems and takes corrective action per procedure and process knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Class C FDEP Water License and a C Waste Water Operator's License are required for this position.
  • Valid driver's license is also required.
