Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher for a position in the Waynesville, MO area.

Compensation

The estimated hourly compensation for this role is $35-40 an hour based on experience.

Job Description

This special education teacher will develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. They will provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment and adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
  • ACTIVE Missouri Special Education Teaching Licensure
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
