Delivery Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team at Southeast Building Supply Interests. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of materials to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage the dispatch log, assigning delivery times, drivers, and loads to specific trucks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Communicate effectively with salespeople, customers, and end product users to schedule deliveries that meet their needs.
- Work closely with the Yard Manager to optimize delivery routes and schedules, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Perform receiving documentation for incoming merchandise, verifying quantities and quality.
- Educate employees and customers on products sold, promoting a culture of knowledge and expertise.
- Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead and teach employees, promoting a culture of excellence.
- High level of self-motivation, with a strong work ethic.
- Strong verbal skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The estimated salary for this position is $52,500 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
