- Operate machinery and systems according to specific operational protocols.
- Utilize forklifts and operate pallet wrapping equipment, while supporting processes such as conditioning, packaging, and treatment.
- Assist in managing agricultural activities including planting, field assessments, harvesting, and data gathering.
- Participate in field operations such as rouging and detasseling.
- Support process order tracking and administrative tasks, including maintenance orders and production data management using systems like SAP, SMMS, and WMS.
- Maintain current metrics and other information on visual boards and data dashboards to foster teamwork and informed decision-making.
- Notify senior technicians and management of any product or process discrepancies.
- Exhibit knowledge of and comply with the company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
- Adhere to internal procedures and support compliance with applicable legal regulations.
- Identify opportunities for performance enhancement in alignment with production area and company objectives.
- Ensure adherence to site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and Syngenta's HSE policies and employee conduct standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to guarantee optimal functionality, reporting any issues or repair needs promptly.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to work various shifts.
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Basic familiarity with relevant production software (SCADA).
- Knowledge of standard maintenance procedures.
- Accurate documentation of production records.
