About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at OakBend Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiological services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Radiology Manager, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • You will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques to maintain high-quality imaging standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Previous experience in MRI is highly desirable.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible within 90 days of hire.
  • Current registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedure.
  • Certified by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT).
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and call shifts. You will be required to work 8-hour shifts, with flexibility to adjust to patient procedure demands and hospital census.
