Medical Specimen Collector

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at Synectics. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services. Your primary responsibility will be to collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing while adhering to established practices and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and professional environment, performing with confidence, and demonstrating leadership behaviors. Key Responsibilities:
* Collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing
* Maintain a safe and professional environment
* Perform with confidence and demonstrate leadership behaviors
* Maintain required records and documentation
* Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred)
* Phlebotomy certification
* Minimum of 6 months experience
* One year phlebotomy experience preferred
* Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
* Keyboard/data entry experience a must
Work Schedule:
* Monday-Friday 7.00am-3.30pm
* Rotating Saturdays 7am-12pm
* Eastern time zone
