Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in managing patient flow and bed allocation across multiple hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage patient flow and bed allocation to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve issues impacting patient throughput.
  • Develop and maintain effective processes and documentation to facilitate efficient admissions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide guidance and support to new teammates and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Licensed RN in the state of North Carolina required; BSN preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting required.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, and Emergency settings.
  • Working knowledge of Dispatch and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Previous experience in a call center or virtual care setting.
