About the role:

This position will oversee the implementation of educational programs aimed at enhancing product knowledge and therapy awareness among Healthcare Providers (HCPs).

The specialist will identify and collaborate with HCPs to improve educational initiatives, promote the effective application of therapies that yield life-enhancing results, and provide guidance on the safe and effective use of Boston Scientific technologies in patient management.

As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will be recognized as an expert in Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology product range, including but not limited to the VersaCross RF Transseptal Solution and FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation System.

Your role will involve training HCPs on the safe and effective use of these technologies in patient care.

You will collaborate with professional education and sales training teams to enhance and elevate hands-on training protocols and facilitation guides.

This position will significantly influence the customer experience before, during, and after hands-on training sessions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting hands-on training in both clinical and non-clinical environments for physicians and OR staff following standardized protocols.
  • Facilitating didactic sessions as necessary.
  • Collaborating with regional sales, education, and marketing leads to create personalized learning pathways for the adoption of Boston Scientific technology.
  • Evaluating and analyzing HCP needs and procedural training requirements aligned with organizational goals.
  • Developing comprehensive therapy and procedural knowledge through participation in education & training programs, case observations, scientific conferences, advisory forums, and team meetings.
  • Assisting in the formulation of the approach, scope, and methodology of HCP training to maximize impact by identifying target audiences, time, location needs, and other relevant factors.
  • Aiding in the creation of educational content to support HCP training and education.

Manage program logistics, including:

product inventory, resource inventory (simulators, models, consoles), field support, organization of the Institute for Advancing Science (IAS), maintenance of training tools and resources, and shipping and receiving products and equipment to facilitate training programs.



  • Engaging identified HCPs and KOLs to demonstrate the clinical outcomes and advantages of Boston Scientific technologies and therapies, exchanging clinical, technical, and safety information based on labeled indications.
  • Creating a tracking and management system for simulators to ensure proper maintenance and availability.
  • Conducting post-program evaluations of content and faculty, staying informed of all changes that may affect training requirements, and implementing modifications/improvements to training protocols and resources as needed.
  • Familiarizing yourself with digital content and providing feedback to the EDUCARE team on customer needs.
  • Effectively promoting HCP training programs internally and externally.
  • Building relationships with HCPs and field personnel through training program participation, case observations, conferences, and other interactions.
Required qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical training experience
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and communicate efficiently with peers and management.
  • Proven ability to work with and successfully train individuals with various learning styles using diverse modalities.
  • Will require up to 70% travel to scientific conferences, hospitals, third-party training facilities, and/or other Boston Scientific locations.
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving large equipment (up to 60 lbs).
Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in cardiovascular clinical or technical roles, particularly in Electrophysiology or Cardiac Rhythm Management is ideal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration for overall franchise success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
