Job Summary

The Loss Mitigation Account Specialist is a critical role within our organization, responsible for managing customer information and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update customer information with a high degree of accuracy
  • Prepare files for attorney submission, including skip tracing, document gathering, and system updating
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing the financial services industry
  • Complete necessary legal process affidavits, including signing and notarization
  • Communicate effectively with team members, external partners, and their representatives
  • Review and process accounts with potential Bankrupt, Deceased, or other statuses
  • Correctly process, document, and upload documents for Active Duty Military accounts
  • Assist partnering attorneys in court appearances, as needed
Requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Nitro Pro
  • Working knowledge of skip-tracing
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Excellent attendance, attitude, and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma and minimum 1-year collections experience
Work Environment
