Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will educate college students utilizing contemporary educational methodologies. Responsibilities include developing relevant curricula, evaluating student performance, participating in program assessments, engaging in college activities, and serving on various committees. You will uphold the standards of the college and department in alignment with the institution's mission and strategic objectives.
As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be on a path towards a continuing contract. Faculty members are expected to teach a specified number of points, maintain office hours, and engage in college operations, which may involve committee work, meetings, and special projects.
Tenure-track faculty must successfully navigate a five-year process to secure continued employment.
Teaching schedules may vary.

Application Requirements
To be considered for this position, please ensure that your application includes:
  • A Master's degree in Nursing, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing, along with a valid State of Florida Registered Nurse license.
  • The ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and the potential to work across multiple campuses.
  • Relevant occupational experience and prior teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology within the classroom; candidates must be capable of employing the necessary technology for the assigned courses.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency to effectively engage with a diverse student and employee population.
For positions requiring a college degree, only degrees from institutions accredited by recognized regional accrediting organizations will be acknowledged.
Degrees obtained outside the United States must be validated by a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). An evaluation report must be submitted with the application.
