Job Overview

Position Summary
The Fire Alarm Systems Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and nurse call stations. This role involves low voltage cable installation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute the installation and commissioning of electronic fire alarm systems efficiently and within the designated time frame.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to ensure accurate installation and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders to guarantee satisfaction.
- Complete all necessary project documentation promptly.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years of proven experience in low voltage electrical systems, specifically in Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and manuals.
- Familiarity with testing equipment, including multi-meters and digital analyzers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving record standards.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
