Account Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team in Detroit. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales in excess of $3-5+M per year of IT consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply and leverage Perficient Sales Processes, Solution Selling, and Account Management practices.
  • Lead and manage customer engagement opportunities from lead generation to deal review, negotiations, and closing a deal.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Fortune 500 clients, CIOs, Senior Information Systems Executives, and Senior Business Executives.
  • Partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environments at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Knowledge of structured sales methodologies, such as Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power-based Selling, and Target Account Selling.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
