Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become an integral part of our rehabilitation team. Your contributions will be essential in aiding patients to regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises and interventions.
2. Provide direct hands-on therapy to patients, employing various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
3. Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, home care practices, and strategies to enhance mobility and functionality.
4. Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
5. Collaborate effectively with the physical therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
6. Oversee the management and maintenance of therapy equipment, ensuring it is sanitized and in excellent working condition.
7. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to healthcare policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and modalities is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently within a collaborative team environment.
