About the Role
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN in a casual position.
The Inpatient Psychiatry Team is comprised of world-renowned experts skilled at managing and treating individuals with mental health needs.
This is a collaborative practice with a team of clinical psychiatrists and psychiatry faculty of the University of Minnesota.
Responsibilities
Care for patients on general adult inpatient mental health units, as well as specialty units including young adult, geriatric, and detox.
Join a team of 7 Psychiatrists and 7 PMHNPs, with an average daily census of 12 beds.
Enjoy practicing in an excellent team environment and receive great ancillary and administrative support.
Schedule
Casual day shifts with weekend shifts optionally available.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry residency training program.
Board-eligible/certified with the ABPN.
Licensed or ability to acquire a medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
