As a Clinical Education Specialist, you will play a vital role in addressing the educational needs related to life safety training and delivering programs that align with our organizational mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Participate in the identification and fulfillment of educational needs concerning essential life safety courses.
3. Conduct training sessions that adhere to curriculum standards and organizational objectives.
4. Gather and provide feedback regarding learner satisfaction and engage in course evaluations.
5. Contribute to content updates necessary for maintaining instructor credentials in assigned areas.
6. Maintain accurate records to comply with organizational requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification:
- Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or CPI is mandatory.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare role or a field that necessitates the application of basic life support skills.
Skills and Abilities:
Language Proficiency:
Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Proficient in drafting routine reports and correspondence. Capable of effectively communicating in group settings.
Mathematical Proficiency:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data through graphs and statistical reports.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions provided in various formats and to address problems involving multiple variables in standardized scenarios.
Work Environment:
This position is part of a dedicated team within a leading healthcare organization focused on clinical education and training.
