Job DescriptionWe seek a talented Assistant Professor to join our Department of Biology. The successful candidate will establish a vibrant research program, teach and mentor students, and contribute to departmental service. A demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility is essential.
Research FocusWe are looking for a researcher whose program focuses on cellular mechanisms of development, such as cell signaling, differentiation, proliferation, motility/migration, cell death, and/or cellular mechanisms driving developmental evolution. The research organism is open, and the successful candidate will join a department with strengths in cytoskeletal and nuclear cell biology, developmental biology of plants and fishes, and organismal evolutionary biology.
RequirementsCandidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Biology or a related field with relevant postdoctoral experience. We are seeking talented applicants qualified for an assistant professor position. Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration.
