Job Title: Mobile Crisis Response Team Lead

UCAN is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Mobile Crisis Response Team Lead. This position involves leading a team of crisis responders during daytime hours, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, immediate crisis intervention services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the Mobile Crisis Response Team during daytime hours.
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members, ensuring effective and timely crisis intervention.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins and facilitate communication among team members.
  • Oversee and participate in crisis intervention services, including assessment, de-escalation, and stabilization of individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely responses to crisis calls and referrals.
  • Collaborate with other UCAN programs and community partners to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
  • Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and other community resources as needed.
  • Assist in the training and development of new team members.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of crisis intervention and mental health.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all crisis response activities.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis to monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensure (LSW, LPC, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crisis intervention or mental health services.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
Working Environment:

Must be available to work during daytime hours with some flexibility as needed. Ability to travel within the service area as needed. Work may involve exposure to high-risk situations and emotionally charged environments.
