Job Summary
Ascent Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician Level II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing calibrations, non-destructive tests, and evaluations to ensure the quality and safety of our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct eddy current, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal parts to determine if they meet non-destructive specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment, including eddy current, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle equipment.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Review test orders to determine the type of test requested, test procedures to follow, and part acceptability criteria.
  • Document all findings on associated Ascent Aviation maintenance paperwork.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Specific training and documentation to obtain a minimum of Level II for NDT disciplines as described in the Ascent Aviation Process Manual are required.
  • A&P Certificate or ability to obtain Repairman's Certificate.
  • Current valid driver's license.

Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and physical demands. The ability to work safely and efficiently is essential.
