Key Responsibilities of the Lead Tax Consultant:

  • Prepare and review individual (1040), partnership (1065), and corporate tax filings.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and offer solutions for intricate tax challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Oversee multiple client engagements, delivering exceptional client service and nurturing client relationships.
  • Assist in crafting and executing tax planning strategies.
  • Guide and mentor junior tax professionals, supporting their career growth.
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and relay these updates to clients and team members.
  • Utilize CCH Prosystems FX for tax preparation and review tasks.

Preferred Qualifications of the Lead Tax Consultant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax.
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, and 1120 tax filings.
  • Strong grasp of accounting and tax principles.
  • Extensive experience with CCH Prosystems FX.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation Range: $140,000-$160,000
