- Sales and Use Tax Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and submission of state and local sales tax returns.
- Support state sales tax audits by compiling and organizing necessary documentation and correspondence.
- Income Tax Compliance
- Assist in maintaining tax depreciation records for income tax purposes, providing projections and summaries as required.
- Support the quarterly and annual income tax provision processes as needed.
- Collaborate with external tax consultants for the filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimates, and projections.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger tax accounts.
- Process electronic or check payment requests for tax obligations.
- Assist in resolving tax notices.
- Support new business initiatives and acquisitions by providing timely and accurate tax guidance.
- Conduct analysis and research on federal, state, and local tax issues.
- Stay updated on relevant statutory, regulatory, and technological changes to identify and implement necessary adjustments and best practices, including opportunities for process enhancements.
- Undertake additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

- Experience in Tax Accounting is advantageous.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and tax research tools.
- Experience with maintaining tax fixed assets is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred or an equivalent qualification.
