ROLE SUMMARY: Red Carrot is in search of an Administrative Associate II to provide vital support to the Airman and Family Care Directorate. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. This position entails delivering crucial administrative assistance, managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and maintaining data across various divisions.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Duties:
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to division leaders and senior personnel, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and event logistics coordination.
  • Support the preparation and dissemination of official documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of all administrative activities, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Travel Management:
  • Assist staff with travel arrangements, including flight bookings, accommodations, and transportation, while processing travel orders and reimbursements through the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Guarantee compliance with government travel policies and ensure cost-effectiveness in all arrangements.
  • Monitor and report on travel expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
Data Oversight:
  • Oversee data inputs and outputs within systems such as the AF Family Integrated Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST), ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Update and maintain organizational charts, distribution lists, and other essential records as required.
  • Assist in managing office supplies and promotional items, ensuring timely reordering and availability for events.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma is mandatory; an associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience, ideally in a government or military setting, with familiarity in professional guidelines and formats.
  • Experience in executing administrative tasks across various platforms.
  • Knowledge of government travel systems and data management tools is advantageous.
  • Valid State Driver's License is required.
