We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist or CT ASCP to join our team at an Industry Leading Laboratory located in the Central New York region. This laboratory prides itself on its commitment to excellence and innovation, with state-of-the-art technology and instrumentation.
About the Role:This is a permanent and full-time position working on a day shift (Monday through Friday, 7am start time). The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Cytology or a related field, as well as a New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Cytotechnologist. A CT ASCP Certificate is preferred.
Responsibilities:- Perform cytological examinations and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and instrumentation in the field
