Job Title: RN NICU Per Diem Nights

As a Registered Nurse in our NICU Per Diem Nights team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team in the NICU Per Diem Nights position. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
  • Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
Requirements:
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
