Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide individualized care to our patients, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care within the NICU unit
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines
- Act as a supervisor to direct other healthcare employees in providing patient care
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator
- A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
- CPR and ACLS certifications
We prefer candidates with:
- BSN degree
- Experience in CVICU or ICU
- Certification in specialty area of practice
